RLS is just a label to say that your legs constantly shake, and can come from any number of sources.
hence, someone saying they have insomnia and have to take midnight walks, and wake up obsessed with a subject pacing and thinking about it before they eat unless they get a headache from thinking too hard about it... it's literally just the same thing as 'my leg shakes.' it doesn't fucking matter whether the manic depression comes from a bad childhood or neurochemical imbalance or if it's made up in their head. the descriptor is the diagnosis. anyone who doesn't understand that literally cannot think for themselves.
