>>17702737I'm sure the strategy game bros were entirely earnest in their desire to see Mumei be a strategy gamer, but if you were actually there for the HOPIUM meme you would know that the whole thing was just an exercise in coming up with increasingly longshot and silly stream ideas. The whole thing was born not necessarily out of a desire for Mumei to be a specific kind of autist, but out a general frustration at the time with the increasingly limited scope of content that was put out, and have someone who would do more than just play Minecraft and Apex. Mumei was the one people latched onto because "Civilization" is a fun and broad enough theme for people to project onto.
