Cover is an incompetent company that struck gold and doesnt know what to do. Too prideful to ask for help or admit they constantly fuck up, too japanese to join with some other company to have better management, or to hire better staff.

Cover's stance on the Coco-China situation is waiting it out. They hoped the suspension would do the trick and that it was just some stray Coco antis latching onto Taiwan politics like Mori antis latched on the podcast. They didnt understand that they're Hololive antis, not necessarily Coco's.
They're just hoping they'll get tired because they value immediate profit over some hypothetical long-term profit where officially giving a statement would make the worldwide market give them more viewership. They're not even wrong, EN streams with sub-10k numbers and Coco is streaming right now with 4k. Finantially, there's no reason to compromise future sponsorships to get Coco to 14k for a month and then back to 4k.
Everyone knows the Chinese market is only good for investing, buying cheap products, and thats it.
