I'd also wager WA1 is just better as a stream game since it's pretty much a dating sim where each route is 4-5 hours, so you get a lot more chat interaction discussing what to do.
>Isn't WA2 strictly better?I still haven't finished WA2 (on Coda right now) and I 'only' finished 3 routes of WA1, but WA2 shits all over WA1 in terms of quality. It's actually a visual novel this time around instead of a glorified dating sim, so the characters get a lot more material to work with, and the overall story is really well-written. WA1's biggest strength which is its concept mostly amounts to 'oh no you cheated on Yuki :(, well time to fuck the other girls with bland personalities' in execution. WA2 takes this and elevates it to an amazing love story told in three parts filled with great 'flawed' characters.
