Buffers need to be established and enforced.
When one side recedes (makes a compromise) by trying to be the "reasonable" the other fills the space equally and with momentum. Nothing acts in a vacuum. So there is no compromise, because compromise is concession.
If we don't want them to start permeating every corpo then we need to discuss it to enforce, because there is external pressure to have them.
Plus, you give people who push for it an inch in this industry then, they'll start taking a mile. I just don't want freaks who will, by their very nature, fundamentally change things from how they are now in our circles.
