You youngin's don't know about what we used to call the radio voice. Vtubers use their real voices, but much like DJs on the radio they project their voice to be louder, clearer, and generally more upbeat. That's why their "real voice" comes out on offcollabs, because they are not streaming in their usual setups directly in front of the mic and it's more laid back so they speak normally.
