>>67405268They had it better when they were smaller to be honest. Yes the going was rough, but they had a religiously engaged community around them and the paypig culture was to send empty akasupas (to which they'd try to make small talk anyway to thank for the support, was very cute).
However it's true that they wouldn't reach their full potential without joining Hololive. But a schizophrenic fanbase is the cost of triumph. In their struggle to come out on top, they lost their small dedicated fanbase in favor of a much more toxic, massive one.
But I'm sure their former fans are still watching them, and I'm sure there are new Ruffians who are just as dedicated as they were now. Small and few in number, but together we enjoy seeing our cute idols climb new heights.
