Notable parts of their findings are clickbait thumbnails that have nothing to do with the actual content or anything being said in the clip, false/misleading subtitles in the video that do not match what is actually being said (possibly AI generated), and AI generated channel descriptions that in some cases share email accounts, suggested that most out of context vtuber channels are part of a clip milling operation and that as soon as one of these channels gets demonetized or deleted, they pivot to a new channel. While her investigation is mostly focused on herself and other indie vtubers, these sorts of channels have existed in the past for corpo vtubing as well, which suggest clip milling may be a industry wide problem
