If you must know, Merry Milk's the most attractive design in my eyes out of all chuubas past and present, so you can probably tell I like it when a chuuba's theme is ever-present in her design, when it matches her voice and personality, and there aren't that many clashing elements in their design, if that makes sense.)

Matara's an exception for me! Honestly, much of the Niji -> Indie chuubas are exceptions to this rule for me -- maybe Niji's shotgun method of creating chuubas means designs are more half-baked and don't fit as well?
My exceptions to this are Michi (as a simple-is-best I think her old model conveyed the whole sexy-undead with less clutter) and Doki (which is weird, because I think her old model fit her much better and in my opinion, the new model with the same artist doesn't follow a strict design "cue", and feels like an odd blend of old-dragon and doki-indie, and it doesn't hit me as hard). Mint is an odd one too -- I like her indie model more than her corpo, but I really don't like the whole "cutesy" element of it, since I find Mint to be les "I'm a cute gfe type of gal" and a more "down-to-earth" type of persona, which the tired-out maid look fit better. Anyways, I don't think Mint fits my initial claim, since you could argue that she had that model even before joining a corpo. Oddly enough, I also think that Alienmixture's model isn't a downgrade either.
And for holo.......
Dooby is an odd one that's probably due to my own tastes. The fact that her design blends ska with conductor, and the fact that she doesn't commit more to the part-Jerboa style bother me. I'm a big fan of cohesiveness, so it doesn't sit right with me. Overalls are hot though, I'll give her that. It won't beat my shameless Nabi bias though (even though I like Nabi's design more than all her daughters).

I just dislike the way the design looks when it isn't a chibi -- yeah, we don't have that yet, but I'm really not feeling the fanart.
Finally, I can already say for sure that I'll prefer Mumei over what comes next, design-wise. The artist somehow managed to make the most medium-looking body ever. I can't explain it, but it;s great,Hopefully this keeps the thread alive for the hell that we're about to have, lol
