Pippa, you know a lot of these meds aren't supported for lifestyle problems, depression, and anxiety. Come on, young lady, use your brain. These are zombie meds meant for schizophrenics and autists that can't stop getting angry and attacking their caretakers. They'll always prescribe you something when you ask, even if it's guaranteed to do nothing and has atrocious side effects.
The other girls aren't looking out for you, they're conformists who think being on meds is the new normal. It's not because they're trying to hurt you, they just don't know any better. It's a doctor, it's a treatment, it's "healthy," it "fixes depression," that's all they know. You have to make the decision yourself; other people might teach you what they know, but you can't depend on their conclusion (even ours).
