I imagine that minuscule skirt was supposed to be more modest than a simple bottom, but it hides so little that I find it incredibly attractive, the blue supplements her pale color scheme nicely and the hoodie matches up a bit better with her image than the see-through shirt she is wearing in the new one.
I wish they did a re-release of that figure from two years ago...
