It works in theory, but when you look at the map, there aren't any other islands to claim. Also, when looking at /morig/ in particular, I don't think the fanbase is as fragmented as it once was. Outside of shitposting tourists coming in waves (invasions, as it were), /morig/ has been very peaceful since last summer.
With my post, I only wanted to hit on two main things, the social classes and the folklore, while trying not to go on too many tangents. That said, one detail I regret forgetting to include was a famous artifact--a massive stone tablet that collected the words of the goddess--that was displayed in the middle of the largest port town's marketplace that was vandalized and partially destroyed by a notable overzealous religious fanatic before he exiled himself. That was the most I felt like including about the "scars" of past civil wars.
