You could also have something like a collar to hide where it attaches to the outfit, which would further drive home the idea of cat. I think what you need to think about are the little pieces of clothing that could further the idea you want to communicate, be that cat, or skeleton, or jester. I think people will see the overall look of the outfit and know you’re a jester, so you should use any opportunity you can to sell the idea of skeleton cat jester.
I also think it would be a good idea to add something to the outfit that would add some expressiveness. For vtubers specifically you want your avatar to properly sell the idea that it’s you. The face you have shrouded in darkness; not sure if you intend to just keep it a black void, or if you wanted to have a skeleton face, but doing something like changing the cowl to a cat’s face that emotes when you talk would make you feel more “alive”, even though you’re supposed to be dead lol. You wouldn’t really have to run with this idea, though. You could also do something like have a cat on your shoulder that does the emoting, among many other things.
I would recommend going to Pinterest and scrolling through photos of jester and clown outfits. It;ll help give you a better idea of what you might want, and then you can analyze the outfits and think about what you like and don’t like, and how you could change those outfits to better communicate who you are as a person and a vtuber.
