So forgive me if this sounds ignorant, but is that "live count" completely full of shit? Or is the YouTube API it (presumably) pulls from full of shit instead? It fluctuates up by 10 subs, down by 3, up by 20, down by 4 again, within seconds. Do that many people actually subscribe or unsubscribe from a channel when they aren't even live?
I kept the site open a while and she gained 100 subs per minute (in a stuttering, up-then-down-then-up way) for a sustained 5 minutes. That is cool to see, but also seems completely arbitrary, even unbelievable?
Is YouTube's entire method of counting fucked up, or just how this site is getting its data?
