It sounds ultra boomer but there's something about that kind of reset. Forcing you to slow down, putting in time/effort on something where you may not even catch anything, and just realize that your self-image issues or whatever makes you suicidal are probably easier to control than you think.
In any case Deme really needs to move on or be alone for a while.
