no offense, i know you're bit touched, so i'll explain in detail: she didn't have to make a poll if she wanted to play it, and often people make them when they don't really want to do something. either they don't want to be responsible if it succeeds, or they want to have a good excuse when it fails. she's trying to be more straightforward here and focusing the responses (on "is it good") so you don't vote against it just to save her from it (or vote for it just to watch her suffer). another angle is she doesn't want to have to convince people to play it, but if chat says it's good, then she doesn't have to take responsibility for that.
the restriction of two choices is meaningful, is much simpler for her, and of course it allows her to interpret it however she wants. it's hugely beneficial, though that might not be true if there were more items in consideration.
