Let me just summarize the saliant points once again -
1. Big Gura fan, applied to many corpos and confirmed that she got rejected from NijiEN, VShojo and MyHoloTV.
2. Had median of 121 CCV for her regular twitch streams (pic related). This would put her at around #147 of the Youtube tally, above several indies and corpos (like VERSEN and Kawaii). She also made enough money to put out her own merch, as an indie.
3. Loves her community, and in multiple instances mentioned that her biggest hangup with going corpo was having to abandon it.
4. #2 + #3 means that she would not have gone on an "indefinite hiatus" just to go into a smaller corpo and potentially get lower numbers. She already had a circle of VTuber friends as an indie.
5. Detractors will point out that she said "I'm not.. no, not hololive." after reading a chat comment out loud saying "good luck in Hololive".
