Never get stuck on one piece of art or painting, you get better practice by recognizing something you don't like, then moving on to the next pic with the new found knowledge. Then you'll keep challenging yourself when something new comes up that you don't know how to do, remember to keep it about fun, don't take any pic too seriously.
