I just went back and relistened to what IRyS said the other day, it wasn't JUST about an artist failing to meet a deadline or something, she said, "apparently there's a rule that if I can't get everything done by, I think, the end of this month, then it might be hard to have it actually happen."
So, what the FUDGE sort of retarded rule could Cover come up with that would prevent it? Note that it has nothing to do with the graduation because Anya released a cover and Ina is releasing one tomorrow.
