>>58352858Given my experiences with Abilify and similar meds, she'll probably put on 10-20 pounds(that can be burned off pretty easy), and get occasional dizzy spells for like 45 minutes after she takes the pill. May be a little disoriented on and off the first two weeks and slightly fuzzy vision at first. I'm on Lamictal now and that did more for me, Abilify didn't help me at all but I hear for many it does. The only scare I have is if she gets Akathisia, wouldn't wish that on anyone and Abilify's hugest weakness is the risk of it isn't small.
If it works, the only real change you'll notice is she'll be more alert when the meds kick in and the side effects tolerated. She'll still rage, honestly she might have more enthusiasm and more screaming without the lethargy of serious mental illness holding her down and buttfucking her every day. I can't imagine it hurting her social self at all, Abilify isn't an Antidepressant, it doesn't 'zombify' you, it's an antipsychotic.
Pips will be just fine. I'd rather she start on Lamictal if it is for BPD, but if it is full on Schizo treatment, Abilify is probably still the safest option and they always start of baby doses. Plus Pippa is still Pippa, I'm sure she read every single article and detail on that drug before taking it, probably to the point of her own detriment.
Hang in there Pips!
