Multiple new users came in and started telling her to put egg cartons on the walls, soundproof foam, then another guy came in and started telling her to build a soundproof shed in her yard. She didn't ask for any of it, just made a simple statement, and they kept going on she said she was uncomfortable and didn't want their advice but they still continued. Eventually she said she might not talk as much in the discord anymore and removed herself from the conversation. Uncaring, the faggots continued.
Eventually she came back and made a long post saying she is tired of this, it might not seem like a big deal but it happens in every conversation she's in and it makes her feel like she isn't a person, just someone to be talked over and told what to do by randoms she doesn't know. She says going forward she won't tolerate being uncomfortable, nothing's changing but if someone makes her feel shitty she's done keeping it to herself and expects to be treated with basic respect.
She even said she felt as if the last few weeks to months she's been a "punching bag" for a lot of people and feels as if she's being walked all over by certain viewers, even mentioned feeling obligated to respond to certain attentionseeking etc from viewers.
It was infuriating, but I'm glad she's finally learning she doesn't have to be walked all over. It's going to make her a lot stronger as a person and remove the viewer related shit that makes it frustrating to be in her community sometimes.
