The fan culture in Hololive, more or less, for better or worse, is being influenced by idol culture (somehow becomes the dark goat for some people). I think that without said idol culture, it's okay to leave your favorite for whatever reason. Even for reasons like feeling bored and wanting to search for a new favorite. Like a child who drops his/her old toy for a new one. That's why I don't like to use the term "oshi," just "favorite" or something like that. I don't feel obligated to push a VTuber to reach your dream or something like that. Just do something and let's see if the content is interesting enough.
