Hololive was dangerously close to shutting down what with most of their talents, such as their first member Sora, contemplating multiple times to graduate. They had to lose money whilst Yagoo kept ensuring the private investors that it'd work out until he had no other choice but to go public to access even more funds when the private money ran dry.
So many things had to go just right for Hololive to be where they are today, certainly a lot of close calls, but if you ask me, the amount of agencies that can become successful enough to actually compete with Hololive band-for-band isn't a whole lot.
