Since one "anon" from the kiwi farms bunker forum insists on timelooping old yabs about Rie and Tenma and starting shit, I'd like to timeloop an old discussion myself.
>>45758343When you consider a collab you have a few things to consider.
>first, is this a hobby or a career? This is very important. How you treat networking and interactions will change heavily by where you want to take it because
>are you collabing for the relationship, or for the audience? Now this, anon, is where the crux of the issue comes in.
A person might claim that taking certain stances might dissuade contact or collab opportunities, but let's break that down a little shall we? What is being alledged by le heckin based sisterinos is that by taking a stand or making against the grain statements will get you blacklisted from some collabs and circles.
That above idea is true, however, why in the fuck do you think someone like Shondo or like Pippa would care about missing out on a nijisister audience or an indie tranny audience?
Do you think it'd be a good thing if the Kyo Kaneko or Hex Haywire audience of underage teenage girls and trannies came to Phase? Of fucking course you don't.
Do you want to see the unironic cucks out of Froot or Veibae, or the unabashed coomers of any of the AVtubers around Phase? Fuck no.
The truth is at the end of the day these are necessary and valuable filters for a streamer to put up. It is a good thing to put up an automatic self-filter system against viewers that would become a problem for the kind of audience you have and want to grow. There are no "missed collabs" or missed "networking opportunities" that would matter because those are pathways into audiences that CANNOT and WILL NOT mesh with your own community. Most seem to look at pure numbers and ignore this point, streamers themselves included. There is no growth to be gained and neither audience would enjoy the interaction.
Now tell me anon, what do (You) think?
Are these "missed" collab opportunities something of value? Does it feel to you like Pippa or Shondo or any of the others have been stifled in their growth because of their harder (read: milquetoast) takes?
