If it IS just an allergy and not something like Celiac's (though I've not heard of anyone shitting blood and heavily-darkened/weird green stool due to a basic allergy), I've had people in my family who were allergic to things that just...lost the allergy randomly at some point or another. No treatment, no nothin'.
