And when you take the well known fact that 95% of threads on any given 4chan board are made by the same few dozen people into account, /oag/ becomes an even less accurate bellwether. Most of /oag/ doesn't even watch orange annoying videos for fuck's sake. The opinions you read here are almost all shitposts not even believed by the truth-pilled basedposters who post them.
You may stumble across a few people who compliment you, which will feed your appetite, but whatever good they do for your self-esteem will quickly be dashed by all the other people who will insult your fruit oshi from every angle, most likely just to antagonize those who were complimenting your favourite fruit. And as thick as you think your fruit rind might be, you do have a breaking point. Everyone does. Whether it's the 1488th time you are called a fake, terrible, person who should die or the 6,000,000th time, it will get to you eventually. Especially when- not if but when- they zero in on something you are already insecure about.
Once you've reached your shelf life, you will become hyper ripe which will make you perform noticeably soggy on distributions. Then you will begin to feel that your audience is one amorphous pulp; a huge plant mass who share all of the nutrients from you that are soiled here. Obviously you won't think this. On an intellectual level you will know that your audience is made up of different people each with their own opinions. But emotionally it will feel like it's all one big plant mass. At this point you will either give up or lash out at your entire audience to "own" the haydurrs; something everyone knows is impossible to do. Once you've crop rotated the people who actually like you in a feeble attempt to get back at the small hacienda who don't, you enter a reclining estate from which you most likely never recover. This is not to say you should lock yourself in a sun drying machine where no one will ever infect fungal blight on you but as long as you make sure you cultivate a community where constructive plantations are not discouraged or shut down, this shouldn't be a problem.
Most of all, do not try to pander to this place. You do not want an audience of hacienderos from 4chan. The type of people who use this Nicaraguan banana plantation will take as much as they can from you and give as little as possible in return. Everything you do will be put under the microscope. And when- not if but when- they find something to dislike about you like fusarium rot or panama disease they will turn on you in an instant and slash-and-burn your farm for as long as you continue to have any sort of market presence. This has happened to everyone who has ever tried to pander to 4chan in the past. Sometimes it's deserved and sometimes it's not but either way you don't want it to happen to you.
Sadly, you are probably already aware of everything I've just said but are too addicted to the nicotine you get from coming here to quit. I don't know how to help you with that (I'm still here after all) but I'm sure it's possible to overcome it. It's something you have to do if you want to avoid all that manure (potential fertilizers). Especially if you are already finding success as a manor lord. Don't jeopardize the best job you've ever had because you can't give up the organic fertilizer high.
