The fact that creative content compared to streaming is a huge difference in commitment is also a real hurdle as you said. And as I said in another post, I don't want this current style of vtubing to ever go away because I love it and I love to do it to!
I should say that a move towards kayfabe and fiction vtubing is my personal taste, that doesn't mean I want that to be the future of vtubing as a whole, just something that I'd like to see more accepted.
I'm hoping we can all work together to push past that barrier and use vtubing as a means of a wider variety of creative expression without compromising the work that long time chuubas like yourself have made.
