I want a mechanized design and a TV-head would be the to-go option considering how many CRTs I worked with in the past, making it a gimmick to switch models with a redeem, but I wanted something as simple as possible for facial expressions and I can't get simplistic eyes right.
Mouth would tremble based on mic levels + simple rigging for opening/closing, but I'm not afraid of making it just a line visualizer.
