though I admit I was partial to slice of life and romantic dramas
I preferred stuff like planetes, vivy, relife, which had their flaws but I'm talking about their inherent premise, not their execution
so I wouldn't call myself an anime fan
I haven't watched anime in more than a year, but I watch some tubers.
