2. Watching new shows gives you something to talk about, it's a social 'in'.
3. If you're lucky enough to have friends you can do watchalongs, it's a good way of hanging out.
4. If you have the pull of 2 and 3, the desire to find something you like may be a pivotal factor in whether you watch something.
Over the past 2 years, I would estimate that over 90% of my time watching anime has been rewatching old shows. I do not have the will to watch anything new, please help.
