>>70587924Idol-fag here, best way I could describe why I love the concerts, is that it is this sort of culmination of the idol activities. The singing, the dancing, the showing off of art / visual taste, the surprise guests, the wholesome thank you speech. A little dash of merch to commemorate it.
I do not consider it anything like say, going to a massive pop concert. But I love the idea that they worked towards something big, and got to show it off. The Idol journey is just as much about the personal growth, aiming high and making it shine with everyone watching. Take it with a hint of theater kayfabe. But I do watch chuubas regardless if they are into Idol route / GFE / pro gaming. Streaming can be a lot of things, to a lot of people. What tends to shine through regardless of which content, is also having fun with it as a community - I would think chuubas to be a lesser experience without chat, without the great fan content, and the funny as hell memes.
