>>83215038>>83229137Gura quitting and going to Vshojo or going indie would signal the end of an era for sure. I do think it would mean Vtubing as a concept splitting into two camps, a western twitch streamer influenced half and the traditional, web 2.0 Japanese influenced half.
Much like the video game industry it does feel like there will be a shift in Vtubing where the western influence will slowly seep into Japanese chuubas and the newer generations of JP chuubas will try to emulate western habits. Hololive could be like Nintendo where they are the last hold out still doing it's own thing. And also like the vidya industry, this change will mostly affect Japan where as Korean and Chinese chuubas will still do their own thing away from the west.
