When Kiryu Coco graduated, her channel remained mostly intact, but her members-only videos got wiped a few months after.
I implore anyone who has great interests in Minato Aqua to buy membership & download all of her members-only videos, then leave.
yt-dlp:
https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlpQuick guide:
>yt-dlp --output "%(upload_date)s-%(title)s-[%(id)s].%(ext)s" --download-archive arch --cookies-from-browser chromium https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=UUMO1opHUrw8rvnsadT-iGp7Cgoutput to append the upload date for easy sorting in your folder
download-archive stores youtube IDs (very important for downloading large batches of videos)
cookies-from-browser + your_browser uses the cookies required for membership videos.
The link leads to her membership-only playlist.
If you're using cmd, you can cancel a download by pressing ctrl + c
PLEASE DO NOT USE THE MEMBERSHIP PLAYLIST PROVIDED ON THE CHANNEL!
The playlist you'll find at her channel is incomplete because it was manually created.
The link I've put under "suggested cmd line" takes you to the *actual* members-only playlist that Youtube auto-generates.
The trick to accessing it is to convert the link like so,
>Channel IDhttps://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1opHUrw8rvnsadT-iGp7Cg >replace 'channel' with a playlist link, replace 'UC' with 'UUMO'https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=UUMO1opHUrw8rvnsadT-iGp7CgI've already done this for you, just keep it in mind for future reference.
Youtube cookies may bug out, so you may have to retry the same cmd line after an error.
If you are getting errors regarding cookies, use one of the solutions here:
https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp/issues/7271Additionally, Cover may change their stance on keeping the channel archived.
If we assume every video to be around 2gb (average case), you can store her entire channel well under 2TB.
Alternatively, just go through her playlists and decide which ones are worth saving.
Just remember to use the archive option.
