In terms of the reason of cannibalism (apart from just enjoying the taste), the priesthood has the whole shebang of the cycle of life, and thus they would prefer enemies to be captured intact and later sacrificed for the maximum effect (not to mention all the uses a body has when harvested efficiently). The raiders that would do most of the fighting, though, probably have a more similar mentality to the hunters. That said, both classes are aware that disemboweling the enemies and propping up their carcasses do scare the shit out of most of their living brethren, so something like what happened to the Dragoons could definitely be done by /meat/heads, although I imagine it'll be more deliberate, like having the corpses be propped up in some way. Particularly sadistic ones might even not go for the kill. The priesthood (usually) rolls with it due to them recognising the value of psychological warfare, and that most fights probably will end up with enemies unfit for the more ritualistic purposes (like if they're wounded in a way that they won't make the trip back to /meat/land alive either way).
