It's saying "pick me, I'm not like all the other girls", which is basically the implication that any girl who has any hobbies or interests outside of what's normal for girls, is only doing it for male attention and not because they actually like the thing in question. And reaching such a conclusion is something that only a seething jealous woman could come up with because it's not like men would call tomboys pickmes even though they meet all the criteria of one, they're usually just girls who were raised among a lot of brothers.
I said it yesterday but if the people who complain about gatekeeping are those the gate is meant to keep out, then women who complain about pickmes are the ones who never get picked.
