>>79490783>but there were some unresolved plot lines that I feel should have had some kind of resolutionAbsolutely.
I blame this on my scope creep being insane and me underestimating how intensive the scripting was going to be.
I thought the mall section was going to just be the first game
In this way, Ninisanni Scenario: The Harem End is a misnomer. I thought it was funny at one point, but after a certain point I just thought it was misleading. I stuck with it though, for wlsome reason
>It almost feels like you’re setting up for a sequel (I hope you are) with how many loose ends have yet to be tied up.The true ending to the story I'll probably never write, I've been kicking around thoughts for a DLC/sequel that covers a lot of the cut scenes and arcs from this one. I mean, I have the structure for the VN already set-up, and half the scenes are written already...
I have some great scenes I straight up cut due to time constraints, and a bunch of others that were cut because they were just "alright". The D+B thug route, Maria's end, the Meloco combat scenes, the all-cast hand-breast measurement scene in the ZR route, uncovering Selen's dark and edgy past that I kept dropping plot hooks for...
Not to mention the characters that barely get any airtime, those are the ones I feel bad about the most. But I only had so much time, and I chose the best scenes and plotlines to follow.
I will say though, one of the themes of the game is of the game is a lack of resolution for anybody. You see characters that develop, like MC, Reimu, and Rosemi.
But the happily-ever-afters were all in Ninisanni Scenario 1.
>Why the FUCK did you make Anon a manlet? The MC isn't a manlet. He's average height. The dragon sisters are tall, Reimu floats a couple inches off the ground to mock him, Rosemi had a growth spurt (as did her tits), and Scarle is just tall.
>when she stands back up straight, it says she reaches his abdomenI meant upper abs, probably. Zaion's short, he's normal size.
>In that same scene Anon also says he can only have sex with girls he loves, but he had no trouble busting a nut in the crazy tiger sluts,H-he was having a sexual emergency! It's serious stuff, you know!
Yeah, that was inconsistent. I suppose I could've thrown a choice structure/variable to track purity so as to let player's make their choice on willingness to fuck.
Truthfully though, I think he has mixed feelings about Ms. Lanza. He respects her too much, I think, and that gets in the way of his normal horniness. In that scene, I think he might be lying a little.
>The girls in this sequel felt a little disconnected from reality, if that makes sense.I thought this might be a problem. I wanted the characters to develop a little, and change in little ways from last time. Could just be me not getting the vocal tics right though.
Was it the personalities or the way they spoke?
>It got to the point where I was neglecting Elden Ring to play this, which you know means this shit was good. The highest compliment!
>The only thing I’d add is more applications for spending your money, like key items to unlock certain scenesI considered it, but I didn't want too much scene gating. Imagine it's your first run, you're giving this a go, but still not sure about this ninisanni business. You get to the hub area and you can only choose between Petra and Elira. It might make you frown. But if it's Petra, Elira, Rosemi, Selen, Millie, and Nina, chances are you'll pick your favorite girl out of those options, and then try out the other less preferred girls to keep things fresh on the new run.
>Reimu and ZaionInteresting. I'd hazard a guess it's because for their scenes in particular, you can see the MC and those two growing and bonding together. Very emotional stuff. I didn't want to make all the girl's scenes like that, because different people are more inclined towards funny stuff, or lewd stuff.
I am earnestly surprised out of how much mileage I get out of Reimu and Zaion in both Ninisanni Scenarios. You wouldn't assume no-nonsense, straight-man characters have that much mileage, but there is a surprising amount of character exploration you can get into when characters aren't being unserious people.
>It was fun, addictive and an overall improvement from the prequel with all the gameplay additions.Thank you for the compliments. It's a relief to know I didn't regress, at least.
>I could play and read another 20 hours of this no problem. You're not burnt out yet. That's good to hear, because I'll be making more VNs in the future and I need respectable players like you to tell me if they suck or not.
