>>21743658>Lumi/Yuri situationI think the issue's that countries in this world ultimately represent the threads. It's true that you can have some leeway in that (especially if no one else from the thread is present/object to it), but I would say the population at large would have to somewhat resemble the thread's own. As such, while it's fine that the monarch (which I assume is you in this case) declares Lumi and Yuri to be heresy, unless the thread has decided to no longer house their discussion (which doesn't seem to be the case), I don't think you'll really be able to root out or even suppress their followers ICly.
As for the climate, I'll see what I can do, but a mostly Mediterranean climate might not be possible given /cylg/'s location - the closest I can meet that environment would be some kind of tropical savannah climate. Summer will be similarly hot (although also wet), while winter will be 5~10 degrees higher than that of Athens. (rainfall will be similar, or slightly above the range you've suggested, although be noted that it's much higher than Athens, and also has a wet summer rather than winter).
As for snowfall, /cylg/ probably won't have that anywhere due to its low latitude and altitude. Mangrove forest and rice paddies should work well, but you'll need tropical grapes for your wine. That said, they do exist IRL, and people do use them to make wine, although they're not as famous as the ones from the Mediterranean (then again, what we consider "high culture" also comes from there, so there is probably at least some level of bias in what we deem "fine wine").
I hope that works for you. If you have something specific you really want in the end result, we can discuss how to make that happen.
