The Wii was "OK". Bought one on launch day because massive Nintendofag. Twilight Princess being right-handed
I'm lefty made me salty until they released the HD remake. None of the games have aged well, because while Nintendo didn't go full "everything is BROWN and you will like it" like AAA games of the era did, the shite video output meant everything looked washed out. Even over component. And the Nintendofag essentials were all lackluster.
>Mario Kart WiiNever played it after 8 came out. I still play Double Dash for the gimmick and 64 for the nostalgia. Even DS for the snaking. Funky Kong meta is boring.
>Twilight PrincessBetter on the GameCube, better in the remake
>Skyward SwordWorst Zelda game ever, and completely unplayable as a southpaw
>Brawl*trips on your cum*
>Super Mario Galaxy / 2These were actually ogey
It was a fun Wii Sports machine and that's the best thing I can say about it. My 360 got way more use, my sisters stole the Wii and took it to my parents' place a few years after release. Wii Sports was the only time I've ever played video games with my boomer parents, and likely the only time they ever played video games period. Imoutos turned it into a Just Dance machine sometime in ~2012, I think they own like 6 different versions of that fucking game.
Mine recently got stuck on the Health and Safety screen, and were it any other console, I'd try and fix it. I can just emulate the one or two titles I want to play or stick them in my Wii U, which unironically had far better and more replayable exclusives. Just look at how many first party Switch titles were Wii U ports. Alongside the DS it kept Nintendo from pulling a SEGA after the GameCube. It did that so well they managed to survive the Wii U.
