By not disclosing relationships or other stuff "incels" wouldn't like, they do exactly what those incels would want them to do. And why is that? Because they know that if they do, they have a good chance of losing viewers, money and possible growth.
They literally act like they owe incels something.
This realization is the moment many western vtubers have a "mask off".
They realize they have been "duped" into pandering to incels (by their own thought process actually) so they do whatever it takes to "own" them back. This usually happens when they grow to a decent size and have some security behind them.
So yeah, Vtubers owe a lot to "incels", they just don't like to admit it.
