I don't doubt that your pet oni's reserves are plentiful, but the magical energy required to maintain it for even a year would be equivalent to the Big Bang ten times over, level of sync or no.
I won't deny, your pet Oni has its merits over this one. But there will always be pros and cons between two that make any Oni worth consideration.
