>>19501051Meru does a lot of things that go against her. She has to rebuild a Twitch base since she shifted off of YouTube. She should drop YouTube outside of dumping Twitch VODs, so no membership streams on YT, especially since Twitch streamers tend to not lock streams behind a payment. She also needs to raid more, you scratch someone's back and they will scratch yours. Her consistency is a problem as well, but at least she gives a heads up if she might not make it to a stream (she last gave a 20+ hour in advanced notice last stream it would be canceled) or pushing streams back by hours. Then you have stream content. Are you going to randomly jump into a just chatting stream of someone you know nothing about? Her video game streams do better than chatting, soft voices, and sometimes VR Chat. Video game streams are for everyone, just chatting streams are for your core fans unless you have a gimmick to just chatting to click bait people (such as Pokémon fuckability tier list).
Look at any vtuber, they have reduced viewers on regular chatting streams or when they go into post game superchat reading and general chatting. Amiya can get to 100+ viewers on video games but loses about 20% of her audience on more chatting orientated streams because those streams are geared more towards her core fans that'll be there for anything.
I like Meru, but I wouldn't pester her about what she should be doing.
