When you go as hard on gfe as some of the kawaii talents my low self esteem hits ("no one can possibly love me in this way") and my suspension of disbelief is broken. I also have a hard time idolizing someone that idolizes their audience back.
I do think heavy pandering to people in need of love and affection deserves to exist though, so you go kawaii, keep doing your thing. I prefer the level of pandering Fuyo and Yuyu are doing.
