This room Reine's in is fucking evil in the 3DS version, not only can it corrupt your save if you save in there, but there's a puzzle that can often crash your game. This can easily lead to two scenarios:
1. You save in this room and crash from that puzzle, so you never have a chance to save in a proper place again
2. You crash in this room, decide to try again and save before doing that puzzle just in case, crash again, and reload only to find your save has been corrupted. This was my experience, with about 20 hours lost.
