>>90694510Yagoo is amazing at finding talents but as a businessman he's a fucking retard. The fact that Hololive has always been in the red and needed constant fund injection points to this. He cannot help himself but constantly try and expand the company in all different directions. Things like Hololive Earth and their new social app have been failures and money pits. Instead of trying to focus on what's working, he continues to try and turn the company into an idol one, which is not what the main draw is. I blame Suisei mostly for this, but Yagoo was likely going to do this anyways because he genuinely doesn't know why Hololive is as successful as it is. His management is clearly the issue now and they seem to be burning out the talent by focusing on retarded projects that barely any of them succeed. For every new "homework" your oshi does, an actual project or idea they have is likely turned down. It's been shown time and time again that they constantly need to fight management to get events done. Also, being a Jap company means stupid restrictions like needing game perms which means that the girls are constantly stuck playing the same games which gets old very quickly and further cannibalizes each other's views.
Also, there's Holostars which is likely a money pit as well AND also causes drama every once in a while. They have their niche, but it's absolute insanity that they chose to release a new gen of Holostars when EN was struggling for an entire year due to various issues. It's only due to Advent being so good that they managed to pull this off, but otherwise this would have crashed and burned.
The only saving grace of Hololive is the fact that the talent selection is top notch. Outside of that, the company seems like a mess of incompetence. Not malicious like Niji (as far as we know) but it simply seems to be layers of bloat and incompetence which is usual for Japs and likely why EN is bleeding because we simply don't tolerate that as much as the Japs. IN also live in a hellhole so they're simply happy to be here.
