Insider here. Holostars EN selection is pretty much finalized. A lot of /vt/ predictions are pretty on point for who was considered, and a couple of "acquired" names won't surprise anybody. However, I can guarantee there's at least one boy who will absolutely floor the entire board once people dig him up (which shouldn't be difficult).
As for the gen itself, they won't be called "Holostars EN" as they will have their own theme. All of the character designs are supposed to be outsiders shunned by society, who took up streaming to escape from it. The gen is called "Hololive Outcasts", or "Holocast" for short. As for the designs themselves, I'll spoil only a little bit:

A chatty rat-boy who loves spreading rumors about people. Likes to draw posters.
>Joseph Mainjere
A half-angel from Germany who is said to bring death when angered. Highly curious and studious, in particular he loves medicine.
>Henry-Hime
A chuunibyou young man who believes himself to be a princess (femboy of the group). Adores architecture, and large gatherings of people.
As for the talent itself, I expect their old fan to come in droves to Hololive, probably changing it's landscape in the West. We intend to accommodate those fans, as we expect them to bring in a lot of money - to that end we'll moderate the official subreddit to make sure they feel welcome in the community.
