The We Were Here games kind of mean you and your partner have to focus on the game and talk about what's going on because of just how it's designed. I think that's what made the zatsu at the end with Kiara so good: they didn't have to talk about the game anymore and they could just chat.
So basically, a good collab game should be one where they can talk about what to do in the game and focus on that while also still being able to chat about stuff, which is what makes all the impromptu Minecraft collabs recently especially nice.
At the least the We Were Here game will be over after this, and then Ame could hopefully play other collab games.
