he played the japanese version of ib remake because the english version wasn't available yet, but i think it's always better to play in the original language. like how ib not being able to read some words on the paintings made sense because she's too young to understand difficult kanji.
i wish there's another game that hasn't yet gotten a localization that he's interested in, i would love to see more of his jp playthroughs that aren't collabs or sponsored streams...
