>>24782921Honestly GirlDM would probably be the right person to ask since her 3D rigging is the only one I've seen that can actually capture her mouth movements properly while talking, but I imagine part of that is probably a little bit of overexaggerating certain movements to make sure the software properly registers them and moves them accordingly, so I imagine that took a lot of fine tuning.
At the end of the day, it's more likely a classic case of "Japan looks super futuristic in some regards but they still used fax machines" where Cover probably lags behind other similar companies with their 3d models but doesn't want to outright admit it. That and I imagine 3D implementation is different for EN at least since they have far fewer opportunities to actually use it compared to JP where they can iron out some issues overtime because they use the 3d models regularly for stuff like variety show appearances and sponsored bits and not just the occasional stream.
