>>55708726>Seen numerous streamers destroy their streaming careers by playing FFXIV "wrong" (I.e skipping cutscenes, not reacting the right way)Well what happens is that (and this only applies to small streamers, big streamers are immune to this problem because they're established) is that they would play the FF and nothing else for months, losing any potential audience from other games to focus solely on FF, then they do something that angers the FF viewers which makes them leave. Then they're left with no audience at all because their original audience (which wasnt much) got bored of watching them only play one game (a game they never watched her for), they squandered potential viewers from actively streaming other games, and their XIV audience is gone, so they just have a small handful of their original loyalists left and it's not enough. They drop the game, but can't handle the loss in viewership (they always will have gotten more viewers playing FF initially) and just stop streaming.
Many, many such cases. It's really just not worth streaming this game.
