>>37050141I don't know the thinking process of every artists but the nightmare face might have stifled their creativity a bit since they had to incorporate that somehow. That also kinda means that most "horror" are just variations of moom with a scary face. The gumei one is great because of what it implies, I think. The stitches running down the middle being quite noticeable makes the viewer speculate the process. Good horror doesn't need to spell out things.
